Making Sense of Preschoolers
A five session course using the Neufeld Institute and
Meghan’s common-sense approach to parenting.
This course will begin September 19th, 2017 9:30-11:30am and will continue on Tuesday mornings until October 17th, 2017.
No one is more susceptible to being misunderstood than the preschooler – especially when adults are trying to rush them out of their untempered nature, inconsiderate relating, or separation problems. Making sense of these wondrous and confusing beings lays a foundation for intuitive and fruitful interaction with them, and helps us provide the conditions that are conducive to their transformation. This class is both video and discussion, and you will receive a binder with the slides from the video.
Tuesdays, September 19th – October 17th* (5 weeks of class, plus a “get ready for class” call before we begin)
Hera Hub 5028 Wisconsin Ave NW #100, Washington, DC 2001 (next to Rodman’s)
This class is one part theory (DVD from The Neufeld Institute), one part group coaching. I am certified a teacher in this course and have been studying this material for the last 4-plus years. I like to interrupt the DVD here and there, take your questions and examples, and really walk around the theory and how it applies to your little family. This is insight + taking your time = change. No “five easy ways to get your kid to sit quietly” in this class. My goal is for you to leave feeling confident and ready to parent your young child.
$525 (for payment in full) or $265 (2 payments)
How many people are in class?
No more than sixteen. This class is meant to small so that you receive the most support, encouragement, and attention as possible.
* While children are the focus of the course, it is not appropriate to bring children to the class, and child care is not provided.
